Dream The Future Mission Statement Dreamtime inspires, educates, connects and empowers people to co-create positive change in the world through a dynamic and inclusive blend of arts, education, and celebration.
Dream The Future Manifesto The organization is committed to envisioning new possibilities and acting on them. We are a team of friends that support each other in dreaming without limits or conditions. We cooperate and communicate so that our visions can find common ground. We share the work and responsibility of manifesting our collective vision. We transform ourselves so that the world around us may transform. We participate rather than observe. We create and maintain positive relationships on multiple levels:
We support the arts in all media including both Individual projects and Community projects. We live in celebration through music, song, dance, arts and ceremony. We are committed to learning and education on many levels:
We structure our business so that it may operate and succeed in the marketplace, while maintaining the integrity of our vision, mission, and values. Together we co-create the annual Dreamtime Festival, a space for magic, communication, manifestation and transformation to occur. We focus on education, sustainability, healing, personal development, and social change. Our unique fusion of art, celebration, and music provides opportunities for participation and creates powerful learning experiences for all participants. We are dreaming the future. join us!
The Vision Our vision is to launch an international network of enormously successful and effective ecovillage based education, health/healing, transformation and social change centers, building self actualizing communities and events around the world that embody and promote our values.
We envision "walking our talk" and manifesting it as our congruence and integrity. We envision a collaborative and cooperative style since we can do so much more together than individually. We envision setting and living by the higher frames of abundance leading to win/win relationships and mutual accountability. We consider this to be a living and working document, evolving as we optimize and further grow and clarify our vision and values.
Our Core ValuesDreamtime strives to be values-centered. This means that we operate with clear intention of acting according to our highest ideals and principles. Our values are—by design—the foundation of actions and decisions that are made within our organization. We believe the more we focus on putting our core values into action, the more we will be able to create exponential growth towards our desired goals and outcomes.
We value "walking our talk" and to the greatest degree possible, do exactly what we said we would. We believe that “walking our talk” is the most essential quality to cultivate in acting as leaders in our community. We conduct all our interactions with the intention of acting on all of our commitments, which includes running our organization in accordance with our core guiding principles regarding ethical conduct, social responsibility, sustainability, and nurturing human potential to the best of our ability. In addition, we support each individual who works with or does organization with us in achieving the state of completeness by being in integrity with his or her own values as well. If situations arise where an individual's values may be in conflict with those of the organization, we will support the individual in following their heart. To walk the talk, reflect on our own development, and lead by going first in self-application. Our standard is to be congruent and personally aligned, to increasingly develop our state management skills and practice, to always be learning and improving. The counter values are incongruence, lack of state management, hypocrisy, mere image management.
Benchmarks:
To get along with each other, to "play well together," to be good team members, to contribute and support each other, to create and develop long term win-win relationships. To respect each other, to recognize the innate value and dignity of others, to accept them and distinguish between person and behavior, to support the person while speaking to the needs of the behavior. The counter values are competition, gossip, backbiting, judgments of person, tri-angling.
Benchmarks:
To take effective action on what we know, to receive feedback and refine our skills so that we become productive and efficient in our performances. We value continuous growth and learning founded on a commitment to self-awareness.
We are dedicated to to continually learning from our friends, family, colleagues, community, the world around us — and the collected knowledge and wisdom of our diverse cultures. We believe that in being open and receptive to gathering knowledge and wisdom from every experience we encounter along our journey, we will be better able to share our unique gifts and talents with the world. We believe that personal growth and life long learning starts with first looking inward and having awareness of how our thoughts, words, and actions impact our own life and the lives of those around us. By first looking inward, we are better able to accept responsibility for our actions and results. This acceptance, in and of itself, is a powerful catalyst for growth.
The counter values are "talk, talk, talk," lack of productive action, discouraging feedback and change, procrastination, ineffectiveness.

Benchmarks:
At Dreamtime we believe that passion is the spark that ignites our creative power, guides us to our natural talents and shows us where we are best suited to make our contribution in the world. We actively support everyone with whom we interact to discover and pursue their passion, as it is the key to discovering how they are best able to contribute to the world. In addition, we encourage regular celebration of successes small and large to nurture enthusiasm and gratitude for tasks that might otherwise seem insignificant. It is the sum of small victories had on a daily basis that leads to true success. In choosing to celebrate and be passionate on a daily basis we are accepting full responsibility for our power to create a positive, fulfilling, and high-energy workplace.
We value present-centered awareness and focusing on highest leverage actions and outcomes as the key to achieving success and fulfillment at work. At Dreamtime we believe that focus is critical to success. There are two key methods we use to facilitate focus: Daily practice of mindfulness plays a key role in maintaining focus, increasing and managing our vital energy and accessing passion and creativity. Mindfulness is about staying focused on the present moment which supports us in giving 100% to everything we do, and taking action in spite of our moods. Focus is also supported by asking the questions: "Is this the highest valued contribution I can make, right now?", "Is this the highest and best use of my time?"
We value making and keeping commitments to ourselves and others as key to personal and professional success. At Dreamtime we believe that commitment is also an essential ingredient to personal and professional success. Commitment is about being willing to do everything necessary to reach an outcome that is in alignment with our purpose. Being committed means being willing to act in spite of fear. It means being willing to do what is hard. It means knowing that each of us alone can choose to succeed in spite of any barriers that may be put in our way. Being committed means that we—in the words of Winston Churchill—never give up. We want to support our team in cultivating this kind of commitment so they experience themselves as the kind of people for whom their word is the truth. That whatever they say is so will become so, and that or whatever they commit to is as good as done. Work is an opportunity to challenge ourselves to succeed irrespective of the circumstances, and build our confidence that our word is law in the universe.
At Dreamtime we believe that systems and systems thinking are critical to the success and sustainability of any organization. What's more, the purpose of an organization, and of our work, is to serve our lives, our communities and the world, not for our lives to serve our organization or our work. System thinking helps us to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organization by ensuring that it is not dependent on any one person for its success. At the same time, systems thinking can contribute greatly to the fulfillment we experience by allowing us to get consistent, predictable results, thus freeing up more time for you to be creative and innovative in other areas. Until systems have been developed and are being used, chaos often reigns supreme, keeping us in a constant state of stress and crisis. We are collectively committed to learning, optimizing and growing the skill of systems thinking.
Sustainable Dreamtime, Sustainable World As a community, Dreamtime believes that ensuring the sustainability of a organization is of the utmost importance. And for a organization to be sustainable, it must produce consistent, improving, predictable results, over an extended period of time. We also believe that for a organization to be truly sustainable, it's livelihood and growth must also support the long term sustainability of both it's people, the community and the planet. Further, we feel that sustainability is one of utmost timeliness and importance to model, share, empower and inspire in others. We believe that we have a responsibility to make and model decisions and inspire and empower other to do the same in a manner that support the health of the planets ecosystems, quality of life for all humans and other species and for future generations.
At Dreamtime we believe that each of us individually and our community collectively has the power and the responsibility to become a leader. We believe the greatest leaders are those who are consistently taking action to serve others. Rather than hoarding knowledge and power, the great leaders strive to give it away to others. Gandhi, Mother Theresa, Jesus and Buddha are all examples of Servant Leadership in action. Great Leaders
“Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.” Martin Luther King
Some of the Empowering Beliefs that create the Dreamtime Vision: We will congruently respect each other because... We believe in abundance not scarcity. We believe in cooperation rather than competition. We can achieve much more together than alone. We believe in the rich value Dreamtime contributes to the world. We are part of something bigger than ourselves Responsible actions manifest our beliefs and increase our credibility Congruency is our power to truly make a difference in the world. We stand on the shoulder of giants and are part of the time_binding process. The future lies in our hands. Sharing freely enriches us all and will come back to us a hundred fold. There's an attractiveness to a community that lives congruently. You are as important to me as I am to myself. Being held responsible helps me to bring out my best, my personal genius. People are more important that money and fame. Recognizing the whole keeps us balanced.
