EcoAtlas
is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to promote and conduct
education, scientific research and information services that will
support sustainable economic prosperity and a high quality of life,
based on ecological integrity, healthy social systems, effective,
efficient community planning, and sustainable land and resource use.
The Purposes of EcoAtlas are:
1. To bring the power of affordable planning, mapping, development
and geographic information tools and related visualization and analysis
to non-profits, public agencies and community organizations, and other
groups working in the public interest.
2. To assemble, develop, correlate and place into a usable
form accurate, cost effective, timely and impartial data, information
and analysis concerning communities and related economies, infrastructures,
populations, patterns of growth, physical features and resources.
3. To establish presentation and communication systems to present
findings to those whom they might benefit.
